On Friday 13th of January we went to Clacton on Sea to try some timed exposures on seascapes. Having never done this before it was going to be a matter of trial and error, mostly error as it turned out. We will be going back as soon as possible in the mean time click on the image opposite to see 4 images from the day.

So how did 2011 finish up

At the end of November we went to photograph the seal pups at Horsey Corner in Norfolk, what a wonderful experience that was, we would recommend it to anyone. A voluntary beach closure is put in place but the views from the dunes is really good with the seals spread out all along the beach. The day we were there we where lucky in as much that a couple of groups had wondered outside of the closure area giving us a great opportunity to carefully approach closer for some wonderful chocolate box pictures.

And to finish off the year we decided to upgrade to Canon 7D's. First impressions is that it was a good move.
